The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued multiple recalls last week, including more than 91,000 Hyundai and Kia vehicles because the electric oil pump assembly may overheat and increase the risk of a fire.
Kia also recalled more than 120,000 Niro and Niro Plug-in hybrid vehicles because a fluid leak may result in an engine compartment fire.
Car owners can check USA TODAY’s automotive recall database or search NHTSA’s database for new recalls. The NHTSA website also allows you to search for recalls based on your vehicle identification number, or VIN.
